All of my activities are created on an Acer Chromebook in a series of Posts on a Google Blog.
I know nothing of computer coding but started with one piece of free coding and have been adapting that by incorporating additional free coding.
They are created as TEMPLATES for online interactive resources.
So, if you have a blog, or want to create one to try this concept out, simply copy and paste the text in the downloaded text file as a NEW POST and PUBLISH.

A simple activity of sorting 3 sets of 3 pictures and then comparing and sorting them into big, bigger, biggest.
In some of these activities I have used “labels”, in others I have “altered” the actual pictures. I would welcome comments as to whether these help or not.

The activities are meant to be fun, flexible and differentiated.
They are meant to develop transferable skills and be cross curricular.
As a result they hopefully reinforce small chunks of information and give a better understanding of a topic.
I have sorted them into LEARNING, PRACTISING and TESTING activities and will add activities for each grouping if the concept works.
Most of the activities are aimed at UK National Curriculum KS1 and KS2.

My thanks to Selina in Halifax for suggesting splitting the activity into hour, quarter past, half past and quarter to.
It makes more sense that way and then by copying and pasting the code you can then make your own more difficult mixes.

Sorting Numbers [1] and Sorting Numbers [2] shows how activities can be easily differentiated with a simple change of format.
Sorting Numbers [1] has some numbers in place already to give learners a clue as to the criteria of sorting.

Creating Pictures by Colouring [star signs]. This coding simply allows learners to colour a series of dots to white. The topic of star signs just seemed appropriate and the development of the skill of copyng.

Using the same coding as for the map co-ordinates activity I thought that by adding some drop down menu coding I could create an activity involving comparison and estimation. Version [a] still involves a grid to help work out the area in “squares”, whereas version [b] has no such assistance.

I have combined two sets of coding here to create an activity which links maths and English.
Clicking on a series of “action verbs” creates a sum which learners can work out on a calculator.
In version [1b] the same set of “action verbs” creates a sum which learners can work out but without the use of the “=” button.
If you download the coding you can very simply change the numbers used and or the pictures to suit any topic.
